Walk-Through Inspection
A walk-through inspection is less formal and does not require the inspector to adhere to member affiliated Standards of Practice or generate a written report. It is generally delivered verbally. However, this does not mean our inspection will be less detailed or thorough. It is a simple way for a buyer or seller to ascertain the need for a full inspection report when buying or selling the home. We require the client and/or agent be present for the duration of the walk-through.
PRE-LISTING INSPECTION
A pre-listing inspection, which is paid for by the home seller or listing agent, provides a written report as to the condition of the property. It could uncover any concerns that might compromise a sale.
Buyer’s Home Inspection
A home inspection is a visual inspection of your home & major systems, paid for by the home buyer. It is meant to give you a comprehensive report of areas that require fixing or further evaluation by a specialist. It is also a helpful tool in negotiations and depending on its findings—buyers can choose to move on to closing, renegotiate the sale price, request repairs, or cancel the sales contract.
